Forget counting down the days, my kids are counting down the seconds until Summer vacation and I don’t blame them. Just like their parents, kids work hard throughout the year and they deserve a little rest and relaxation too.
Royal Caribbean has the perfect getaways for families – offering quality time together, awesome amenities for all ages, and our award-winning Adventure Ocean® youth program lets the kids play while Mom and Dad lounge the day away.
We’ve made it even easier for you to promote all the family-friendly services and features we offer with a brand-new, family focused brochure. In it we’ve highlighted everything from our Fisher-Price® Toy Lending Program, Crayola® BeginningsTMWorkshops and Mattel® Board Games to our Sitters at Sea program and our flexible dining selections such as My Family Time DiningSM and our kid-tested/parent-approved Lunch & Play option. These offerings, and so many more, are beautifully presented for your clients in our new Family Brochure, make sure to check it out and put it to use.
We’ve also got a lot of exciting promotions perfectly geared to your child-toting clients, including Family of 4 Pricing to the Caribbean for only $1799 and Onboard Credit and Dollar Off Deals on a variety of sizzling summer itineraries.
So here’s to all the families out there who are looking forward to a long, happy summer full of adventures galore on the seashore!

JULISSA PEREZ, Business Development Manager for Royal Caribbean International®
We are the brand of innovation, the cruise line that says “Why Not” to new concepts and initiatives and it is because of our people, and the great ideas they generate, that we stay top of mind when it comes to originality.
This month I was reminded just how creative our team is when Julissa Perez, Business Development Manager for Royal Caribbean International®, took two of her Travel Partners, Karen Krugliak, owner of Brit Olom Tours and Michelle Lehman, owner of Cruise & Travel, to visit some local police and fire stations to promote our special Firefighter and Police rates during National Police and Firefighter Appreciation week.
Julissa is photgraphed here getting into the action and wearing some of their gear. She showed the Oasis DVD to the people she met and had brochures and flyers on hand to distribute, received valuable sales leads and generated new interest in our ships.
“Words cannot express how great our day was together promoting police and fire rates,” said Karen Krugliak. “The excitement for cruising on Royal seemed to grow at every stop we made. I took back to the office so many ships and dates to check that my head is spinning.”
It really makes me proud to hear stories like this, stories that show success through thinking outside-of-the-box. And with efforts as heartwarming as Julissa’s, the extra time and effort it took to make a personal call like this pays off even more as often times these stories get picked up by local media (or featured in Vicki’s Spotlight Newsletter) which generates more exposure.
So, even though it is no longer National Police and Firefighter Appreciation week, show your local service men and women your support by planning a trip to local stations and providing these valuable vacation discounts. Their job should always be recognized and their work should always be appreciated – and the same goes for outstanding employees like Julissa and agents like Michelle and Karen. |
