Now that you have your World's Largest Cruise Night plan of action, the next step to hosting a successful and profitable event is getting your clients to attend.
Start by sorting your client database or mailing list to determine who you would like to invite to your event. Are you targeting a specific target demographic? Now is the time to decide which guests are most likely to participate.
Next, determine what vehicle you will use to promote to your clients. Postcards, mailers, newspaper, email, stuffers, etc. are all terrific options. You might also want to consider reaching out to corporate accounts or other organizations as well as creating press releases to local media for added exposure and potential new customers. For your VIP clients, a personal hand-written invitation with special days/hours just for them goes a long way. It not only makes them feel extra special, it will also show them the importance of this event.
Be sure to prepare all your mailing labels and clean up your email list in advance so you can send out your event invitations no later than two weeks prior to the event.
Seem like a lot? It's not. W'e're here to assist you. We have provided a sample invitation template as well as a link to Royal Caribbean International's personalized collateral ordering system.
