A SEA OF GRATITUDE
Season's greetings!

The winter holidays are upon us once more — a time to share with family and loved ones, reflect on special moments in our lives and how we can create special moments for others. On that note, we at Royal Caribbean don't think of our brand as a vacation provider, but rather a special moments maker. Recently a guest reached out to me with a heartwarming story about such a moment.

A family onboard one of our Oasis Class ships was traveling with their vision impaired son, who wanted nothing more than to reach the top of the Rock Climbing Wall. The crew member who had no prior knowledge of the boy's circumstances immediately warmed to the child, and became determined to see the boy succeed. He talked him through each step of the way, with no worry as to how long it took or the line that may form. Soon, a crowd gathered cheering him on and at long last he reached the top and rang the bell — a task most would have told him was impossible.

Moments like these are what we create together. And this is an example of what makes your work so valuable. Travel memories are one of the fondest kind. They're more special than anything we can buy or wrap. And working with you to make these moments happen — well, it's a privilege.

Thank you for everything you do for your clients. And thank you for everything you do for Royal Caribbean. We have so much to celebrate in one year alone – especially the introduction of two of the world's most innovative ships to our fleet, Ovation of the Seas and Harmony of the Seas. And our five wins in the Travel Weekly Readers Choice Awards! These accomplishments are only possible because of your support.
