In the weeks before your clients sail, with some help on your end, the Royal Genies will learn their specific preferences, so they may turn the most unforgettable vacation dreams into a reality.
  • 6 weeks before: A Royal Genie will contact you to forward your clients an important survey about their preferences. Based off the information provided, the Royal Genie will begin preparations to personalize their vacation accordingly.
  • 2 weeks before: The Royal Genie will contact your clients to confirm arrival information via e-mail.
  • 10 days before: The Royal Genie will invite your clients to download the Loop app – an exclusive Star Class messaging tool that allows fast, easy and convenient communication between them and their Royal Genie. Loop will be available from point of download until four days after their cruise.
To give you an idea of the difference the preferences survey makes, I share with you an email from my friends Glenn Neely and Rae Wayne, who sailed in a Two-Bedroom AquaTheater Suite on Oasis of the Seas.

"We are experienced cruisers and were so excited to have booked the two-story Suite on this trip. Little did we know what was in store. I have a personal weakness for BBQ potato chips — they are my vice, my favorite treat. Imagine my surprise when upon entering our Suite, the day we boarded your beautiful ship, prominently displayed in the living room… was not 1 bag… not 2 bags… but literally EIGHT DIFFERENT BAGS and varieties of BBQ potato chips! It was SO funny! Yet appropriate!"

Her husband, a lifelong LA Lakers fan, encountered some surprises of his own. "We live in Los Angeles and are Laker Season Ticket Holders. And the most famous Laker of all (in our years of attendance) is of course, Kobe Bryant.

At first glance, seeing a framed photo of Kobe… seemed curious at best. Then we found the 2nd (different) Kobe photo. Then the 3rd one. We started laughing and laughing. The Suite was a Kobe Bryant shrine! Literally for the next 7 days, every time we returned to the Suite, and saw our Kobe photo gallery, we would start cracking up again. Your staff truly went above and beyond in the set-up and personalization."
